Fu Zhongwang was born in Wuhan, Hubei Province in 1956 and graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts in Beijing in 1982. He worked successively in the Art Department of the Hubei Provincial Museum and the Sculpture Creation Room of the Hubei Provincial Academy of Fine Arts, and then in the Hubei Art Museum in 2006, and in the Wuhan Creative World Fu Zhongwang Studio in 2016. Now he is the art director of Hubei Art Museum. He has been engaged in sculpture and public art creation for a long time, and has participated in many contemporary art exhibitions at home and abroad, and his works have been collected by many art museums and art institutions.
