Born in Lishui City in 1986, currently residing in Hangzhou. I graduated from the Oil Painting Department of China Academy of Art with a bachelor’s degree in 2010, and from the Oil Painting Department of China Academy of Art with a master’s degree in 2013. He is an outstanding explorer among artists born in the 1980s. Through years of dedicated research between Chinese and Western art traditions, he has developed his own unique painting language by repeatedly exploring color emotions and skillfully applying different techniques, breaking through and establishing at the same time. Wang Yuanyuan embarked on the path of a professional artist at the age of 30. In a self description of a solo exhibition, Wang Yuanyuan wrote: Apart from my wife, painting is also my lifelong companion. And scenery has become my main creative theme.
